Thank you for everything, Hillary. Now please go away.

Can we now--finally--be done with the Clintons? Please?

Voters repudiated the Bushes in 2008, and kicked them to the curb for good with Jeb's very expensive primary campaign beatdown a year ago. It's time to do the same with Bill and Hillary, wouldn't you agree? With two failed elections, Hillary has squandered a lot of Democratic dollars over the years--nine figures' worth!--and lost twice. No more at-bats, whattaya say? Her service and her efforts were appreciated; we’ll forevermore be grateful for her time as First Lady, US Senator, and Secretary of State. But now she'll just be gumming up the works if she stays around; it's time for her to hit the showers. She and bill have built a nice family, a great foundation, and a huge pile of cash; they should now go enjoy it, and let both the nation and the party move on.

While we're at it, let's be done with the DNC, at least as it currently is. The incessant fundraising, the fawning admiration of the party apparatus, the obsequious hewing to the status quo, the infatuation with being GOP-lite, the eternal fantasy of hand-holding cross-aisle bipartisanship: let's stuff all that shit in a bag and toss it in a dumpster and soak it with gasoline and set the dumpster ablaze and push it over a cliff, then bury the smoldering remains under a mountain of “no”.

No more.

And no more of the DNC's lukewarm, milquetoast, spineless, pablum-dribbling old guard. Chuck Schumer? Please spare us. We need fighters. Sluggers. Brawlers. Fewer Jack Conways and more Elizabeth Warrens is what I'm saying.

How about we also eject and reject forever Dems who think that elevating Republicans to positions of power will gain them the favor of the GOP and therefore cause Republicans to act sanely? To the victor go the spoils; to the loser they do not. Or to put it another way: what are the chances President Trump will have a progressive--hell, even a Democrat--in his cabinet, or heading any of his agencies? Comey? Hagel?

Right. No mas, por favor.

Speaking of which: can we shove Comey out the door now? Pretty please, with sugar on top? Nonpartisan, my butt; the guy should be dragged into the Oval today, handed a severance letter, and kicked out the door with a firm boot to his ass, and it's a travesty Obama hasn't done so already. I can *promise* you a Republican POTUS would have. I can assure you Trump would.

Let's get namby-pamby centrists off the airwaves, too. Chris Matthews, I'm talking to you. Also you, Mika Brzezinski, pretend "liberal" who spent months kissing DJT's ass, and who has been deluded into believing that reading poll numbers and the occasional newspaper op-ed aloud on the air somehow equates to balanced journalism. I know there's not a lot we can do here, but maybe, you know, not watch? Kill the ratings? Kill the shows?

Oh, yes: polls. Fuck ‘em. Fuck ‘em all. It's understandable that a few  would be off by a handful of percentage points; that's the nature of the beast. But when every goddamned poll is wrong by goddamned double-digits, it's probably time to quit breathlessly following their every goddamned up and down. They're based on science, right? So like the failed experiments they so obviously are, let's tear them down to their component parts and put them back on the drawing board if they're salvageable, and discard them if they're not.

Third-party candidates and those who vote for them? Ignorant. And cowardly. Rachel Maddow last night said, "Those who vote for a candidate they know can't win are saying they don't care who wins." Couldn't agree more. Votes for a third party are a child’s way of avoiding responsibility, and allowing one to be smug. Well, take both your smugness and your wasted votes and shove them up your ass. You've succeeded only in a) not having your interests represented and b) tossing your fundamental right to vote into the nearest commode. Good fucking deal, huh?

Folks, it's simple: playing nice might work on the elementary school playground, but it doesn't work. Not with modern Republicans. Trying to be "bipartisan" doesn't work. Offering the Right one olive branch after another in the misguided and foolish hopes they'll suddenly stop being such unrepentant asshats is stupid; they simply gather up those olive branches and hold a big fucking bonfire with them every two or four years, laughing at the Left's gullibility every. Fucking. Time. Enough already. Maintaining the high road sounds great on paper, and there are probably times it’s warranted. But not now. Now it will only lead to more catastrophic bloodbaths such as that which happened last evening. It’s time we leave the high road to the angels, and start kicking some low-road ass.

So again: thank you, Hillary. Seriously. From the bottom of our hearts. But go away now, 'kay?
