This is barely even diary-worthy, really, so apologies in advance. But it’s Sunday, and I think this “mistake” nicely illustrates the “you can’t tell brown people apart and everything south of Texas is Mexico” mindset displayed by so many on the deplorable Right.
(And, yes, even the most experienced Chyron operator can have a bad day when s/he is building up graphics for a broadcast; I myself did so more than once back in the day. But, still…)
