It's another Wednesday, so it's time for our dear Mittens to once more put his mouth where his money is, and he hasn't disappointed us yet. Here's what he told CNN's Soledad O'Brien:
"I'm not concerned about the very poor... We will hear from the Democrat party, the plight of the poor... You can focus on the very poor, that's not my focus..."
And there you have it straight from the horses's ass --er, mouth: "Fuck the poor". Or words to that effect. (I suppose he would have gone with "Let them eat cake", but that was already taken.) Of course, Mitt being Mitt, there's a Goofus for every Gallant, a Butthead for every Beavis, a Jekyll for every Hyde; here's what he told a group in Aiken, SC, last month:
"I'm concerned about our poor in this country. We have to make sure that the safety net for our poor is always strong and always able to help those that can't help themselves."
By this point, I'm sure you poor people are all very confused--as is, apparently, the GOP hair-apparent (Ed: misspelling intentional). So if Mittens ties enough voters to the roof of his car is successful in convincing enough low-information (read: Fox-watching, Limbaugh-listening) voters that he'll be the absolutely best person in America to occupy the White House for the next four years, the poor will have to simply cross their fingers and hope like hell they get Aiken Mitt, not O'Brien Mitt.
